Anthropic has released a Linux beta of its desktop application, Claude Desktop, with support for Ubuntu and Debian. Joining macOS and Windows, the move brings a native desktop experience to Linux, letting users run the coding agent Claude Code, the autonomous task tool Claude Cowork, and chat in a single app, alongside the existing browser and terminal options.
