On June 30, 2026, Google began rolling out "Short Video Overviews," a feature in its AI research tool NotebookLM that automatically generates roughly 60-second vertical videos from uploaded sources. It is initially available to Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers on mobile apps (iOS/Android) and the web, with a rollout to free users said to be coming soon.
