Two Chinese robotics startups have reached valuations above 2 billion yuan (about $2.9 billion) in recent funding rounds, both attaining unicorn status. According to Bloomberg, the companies are Shenzhen-based AI² Robotics and Alibaba Group-backed X Square Robot, cited as evidence that appetite for investment in humanoids and embodied AI remains undimmed.
