Anthropic is bringing Claude Fable 5 back online. After the U.S. Commerce Department lifted an export control directive on June 30, the company announced "Redeploying Claude Fable 5" the same day, saying it would begin a phased global restoration starting July 1 across Claude Platform, Claude.ai, Claude Code and other services. Users worldwide, including in Japan, will regain access.
