Vercel Labs has released an open-source knowledge agent template, "knowledge-agent-template," that searches a knowledge base using the file-system commands grep, find, and cat instead of vector embeddings or a vector database. The template can sync GitHub repositories, YouTube transcripts, and custom sources, and can be deployed as a chat app, a GitHub bot, or a Discord bot.
