The VideoDB team has released call.md, an open-source desktop app that combines real-time meeting recording and transcription with automated triggering of MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools. Built on Electron, the app performs local recording of screen, microphone and system audio, and runs dual-channel transcription that separates speakers, while automatically executing registered MCP tools based on what is being said. The code is published on GitHub.
