On June 30, 2026, Anthropic released Claude Science, an AI workbench aimed at automating research tasks for scientists in the life sciences and chemistry, as a beta. Built on existing Claude models, it covers everything from literature analysis to multi-step experiments and figure and paper preparation in a single environment, available for macOS and Linux at claude.com/science. As Bloomberg reported, it targets the automation of biology and chemistry tasks such as protein structure prediction.
