On June 30, Anthropic announced it will redeploy its top-tier AI model "Claude Fable 5" across all platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Foundry, after it had been suspended over export-control concerns. The model, now equipped with a new safety classifier to block a jailbreak reported by Amazon researchers, will be progressively re-enabled starting July 1 on the Claude Platform, claude.ai, and Claude Code, among others. According to the global redeployment statement, access on the three major clouds will be re-enabled "as quickly as possible."
