Anthropic has renegotiated part of its partnership with Amazon, agreeing to shift the way Amazon is charged for using Claude models from a "computing hours" basis to one based on token usage. The change is expected to take effect in 2027 and could raise Amazon's costs as it uses Claude across shopping and coding AI products, according to The Information.
